The    The Collibra Professional Services team provides experienced leadership, support and guidance for your Data Governance implementation projects.  

   As a partner to some of the world’s most recognizable brands, Collibra Professional Services provides the shortest path to success and ongoing value for our customers.  

Collibra’s Implementation Methodology (CIM) is a phased, deliverable-oriented approach to implementation.  CIM is specifically tailored for Collibra as an off-the-shelf application with best practice accelerators and templates that are used for rapid fit/gap analysis of out-of-box functionality against customer requirements and defining custom application configuration settings.

CIM balances both traditional and rapid iterative approaches for custom object build steps to achieve faster deployments at lower total costs.  It is a comprehensive Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology that includes:

Project Start Up
 Solution Blueprint
 Configuration and Build
 Final Preparation
 Deployment and Go-Live Support

Project Start Up

The Project Start Up phase prepares our customers and project teams for the implementation of Collibra Data Governance Center.  The Collibra Solution Architect and Project Manager will work with you to develop a project plan, review Collibra dependencies, plan and hold a Project Kickoff Meeting and prepare for the product installation.  Business requirements and process flows are reviewed and formally approved to ensure that the team has a full set of requirements and that the planned operating model will meet the business needs.  

Solution Blueprint

Through a series of workshops, the Collibra Solution Architect will work with you and your project team to identify details about requirements that map to Colliba out-of-box content.  In addition, Collibra will collect details and requirements that will be used to personalize the Collibra Operating Model.

Configuration and Build

Information that was gathered and documented during the Solution Blueprint Phase is used to configure Collibra’s Data Goverence Center.  Integration development via Collibra Connect occurs, as well as custom workflow development.  During this phase, Collibra takes an iterative approach to development.

Final Preparation

Collibra’s project team works closely with you to verify the solution within a test environment.  During the verification process the various components that have been configured during the Configuration and Build Phase are pulled together and tested from a functional and system integration perspective.

Deployment and Go-Live Support

Once the configured solution has successfully passed User Approval Testing it is ready to enter the Deployment Phase.  During the Deployment Phase, Collibra’s Data Governance Center configuration is installed within the production environment and brought online.
